  Some Hostel Rules

1. If a learner is found in an opposite sex hostel, that learner will be expelled with immediate effect.

2. If a learner is found to be in possession of alcohol or being intoxicated with drugs, alcohol etc. That learner will be expelled with immediate effect.

3. If a learner has beaten or assaulted another learner, he/she will be expelled immediately.

4. If a learner is found in hostel loafing during school hours, a parent will be called to fetch his/her child.

5. No learner may jump the wall or fence as he/she will be expelled immediately or charged a trespass fee of R8000.00.

6. No outside learners or persons are allowed to be in the school hostel.

7. Permission to leave the hostel is obtained from superintendent/Director.

8. Request to release learners telephonically should be arranged prior. Otherwise, a learner should be physically fetched by a registered parent.

9. Hostel learners are released but only when the school closes on Easters, June holidays and in November/December end of the year holidays only.

10. If in a room a learner has broken, lock and key, door, windows, wardrobe, light bulb or electric wiring, table, chair etc, such a learner will be compelled to buy a new item.

11. All learners must bring their own single bed mattresses.

12. If a learner is found to have stolen another learner’s item, that thief will be expelled.

13. If a learner is expelled from hostel, the learner is automatically expelled from school.
